Six Explosions were reported this morning at three Churches and three five-star Hotels in Colombo
Multiple explosions in Colombo and other parts of Sri Lanka, reports Sri Lankan media. Sri Lanka was rocked by multiple explosions, including two churches on Easter Sunday, a police spokesman said. One of the explosions was a St Anthony’s Church in Kochchikade of the capital, Colombo. Another church in Katuwapitiya, katana was also hit. Police also reported explosions at the Shangri-la hotel and Kingsbury hotel in the capital.
Explosions were reported at St. Anthony’s Church in Kochchikade, Kotahena and St.Sebastian’s Church in Katuwapitiya, Katana.
Explosions were also reported at three five-star hotels, the Shangri-La, Cinnamon Grand and Kingsbury in Colombo.
Police said another explosion was reported at a church in Batticaloa.
Several casualties including foreign tourists have been reported.
