Mahinda opposes any reconciliation

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa questions as to how to build a reconciliation process through the forcible elaboration of an amendment to the country. The Former President Mahinda made this statement after attending the funeral of Dr. Nagoda Amarawansa today (23).

Mahinda was the President who promised the western world that he will implement amendment 13+ to constitution if he was allowed to kill more than 40,000 Tamil civilians with LTTE Leaders in May 2009. Eventually Western world turned a away when more than 40,000 Tamil civilians were killed by the Sri Lankan forces and killed more than 1000 LTTE Leaders and their family members who surrendered with white flag after UN negotiated the   surrender.  Mahinda who plays the racist card to keep his family in power refused to implement his famous ”promised 13+” and even refuse to implement the 13th amendment of the current constitution  as the LTTE was killed.

Mahinda is opposed to any reconciliation to minorities as his only hope of comming back to power is playing the racist card hence he and his family members are determined to oppose any reconciliation.

“If they expect to establish reconciliation through decentralization of power it would not be done through forceful attempts. It is an issue that is being challenged by all the main Sangha Sabhas.” the Former President said. However, the public has rights oppose such a constitution, he said. “I am intending to come at the right time at the right moment” He added.
